Cardiff and Vale College

Cardiff and Vale College (CAVC) is an award-winning UK Further and Higher Education College Group with over 30,000 annual enrolments each year. The College is located over 12 specialist campuses across the Capital Region of Wales and has three international campuses in the Shanghai-Delta region. 

CAVC specialises in Technical and Vocational education and training alongside delivering a range of academic programmes for learners post 16. The College group has extensive commercial operations and apprenticeship programmes supported by strong links with Industry partners including Aston Martin and Deloitte. As well as delivering commercial programmes for domestic partners, CAVC has a growing presence internationally. This includes a network of CAVC international schools in China and delivering TVET to their international partners in person and online. 

The College recruits international learners from a number of global student markets including the Latin America region to study in the UK on a range of programmes including English language, Pre University Programmes, Pathway Diplomas and University Courses. We also deliver programmes for groups, including teacher training & development courses and English language training. CAVC a a World Skills UK ‘Centre of Excellence’ and winners of UK-wide TES awards including - ‘Outstanding use of technology’ (2020).

NCC Education

NCC Education is an OFQUAL regulated awarding body offering programmes from L2 to L7 in Business and Computing, and a university access course for international students recognized by over 70 universities. NCC was established in 1968 as part of the National Computing Centre. 

Their Professional Development courses focus on evolving areas of technology and in-demand skills. Upskill and reskill for today’s ever-evolving workplaces

They have around 200 accredited partners in over 50 countries, however they are yet to find a suitable teaching partner in Mexico.

Learning Curve Group

Learning Curve Group (LCG) is a national training and education specialist. LCG works with UK TVET colleges, employers and learners to help them achieve success. 

Since 2004, Learning Curve Group has grown both organically and through acquisition to become one of the largest and most diverse education and training providers in the UK. Highfield International

Highfield International is an award-winning organisation that focuses on developing globally renowned qualifications, training materials and e-learning that develop skills, change attitudes and improve safety. They are the international branch of Highfield Qualifications - a top 5 UK awarding organisation and winner of the Federation of Awarding Bodies ‘Awarding Organisation of the Year’ award 2018. 

Highfield international-approved centres have access to over 250 qualifications designed to enhance the career prospects of learners while improving safety and enhancing knowledge and skills. Their qualifications cover multiple sectors including catering, manufacturing, retail, education, construction, hospitality, leisure and many more.

South East Regional College

South East Regional College has been working internationally for over 13 years developing a unique approach to internationalisation leading to partnerships in almost 50 countries. SERC’s Model creates long-term, meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships such as our 12-year partnership with National Institute of Technology, Toyama College, Japan. 

SERC is one of the largest technical, vocational and professional Further and Higher Education Institutions in UK and is committed to quality education and learning opportunities for all with the primary strategic objective to be a key driver of economic development. Quality improvement is a strategic priority and a key strength of the College. The self-evaluation process is robust clearly identifying areas for improvement. The Education Training Inspectorate (NI) (Ofqal equivalent) has, for the past 10 years, had a high degree of confidence in the sector-leading process and the Quality Assurance Authority concluded with confidence that the academic standards are reliable and meet UK requirements. 

Whilst SERC has no previous experience in Latin America, we have successfully delivered: skills training models in Egypt, South Africa, Pakistan, Ghana, Malaysia, India; Quality Assurance framework for DHET South Africa; teacher training in Thailand, Japan, Slovenia, Ireland, Italy, Hong Kong, Tajikistan; UK certification in Pakistan; online/blended ELT in Japan, Pakistan and Tajikistan.

     TTE International Limited

    TTE is a leading provider of Technical and Vocational training and consultancy services in the Engineering, Energy, Process, Chemical and Advanced Manufacturing sectors. In addition to their facilities in the UK, TTE has also established and operated several international training facilities supporting nationalisation and local workforce development in countries including Indonesia, Ghana, Azerbaijan and Oman.

    In the last 30 years, TTE has trained more than 10,000 UK and international technicians through its commercial business. TTE is proud to work in other Countries and develop the training systems and equipment with a Nationalisation strategy running in parallel. Success for TTE is when they have trained the learners and the local trainers and management.

    TTE regularly welcomes technicians to its training centre from regions such as the Middle East and Africa as well as through international facilities. TTE provides in-country training and consultancy at customers’ premises. TTE International is a wholly owned subsidiary of Middlesbrough College, the largest FE provider in the Tees Valley with in excess of 15,000 students and offering programmes from entry up to post graduate level.

     The Skills Network

    The Skills Network is one of the UK’s leading providers of skills development and edtech solutions. They work across a wide range of sectors and levels to provide education and consultancy solutions to ensure that the skills and innovative education delivery solutions needed for greater prosperity and social equality are made widely accessible. 

    The Skills Network work with schools, colleges, professional membership and trade bodies, the National Health Service, governmental organisations/projects, universities, corporates and apprenticeship providers to provide innovative edtech, teaching, skills programmes and consultancy solutions. TSN’s reach and provision is huge and growing rapidly to meet demand internationally.

    Neath Port Talbot Group of Colleges

    NPTC Group of Colleges is one of the largest groups of Colleges and education TVET providers in Wales in terms of student numbers and landmass coverage. NPTC was established from very small beginnings in 1931 under Neath Mining and Technical Institute and has successfully supported industries delivering Technical Vocational education for 90 years.

    NPTC now has an annual turnover of circa £66 million and provides almost every conceivable vocational area of Education and training. NPTC has its rigorous internal Quality Management System that is practised rigorously by the group for its overseas activities. International experience includes China, India and the Middle East.

    m2r Education

    m2r Education provide award winning education solutions to over 40 countries. These include online EAL courses delivered via web browser and mobile application, online school subject tutoring for high school students, online EAL lessons to learners of all ages, online EAL Teacher training courses and in country teacher recruitment. 

    m2r Education is current DIT Export Champions and is keen to explore opportunities in Mexico and the Latin America region.

    Edinburgh College

    Edinburgh College is one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the UK, with over 26,000 students. Their extensive international work includes developing and delivering tailor-made professional training programmes, providing teacher training and professional development courses, supporting curriculum review and development across a wide range of subject areas and supporting capacity building in the TVET sector.

    The College has expertise, in a wide range of Technical and Vocational areas including (but not limited to):

    • Healthcare

    Another major strand of Edinburgh College’s international work is in English Language and ELT Teacher Training. The College has built up vast experience of working with partners across the world, both in designing high quality English Language and Teacher training programmes, and in delivering these effectively to meet learning outcomes and to support client’s longer-term project ambitions. 

    The College has experience in delivering courses which are part of large-scale national reform programmes in these areas and is adept in ensuring that delivery is tailored to the local context and that outcomes are aligned with wider reform agendas. Edinburgh College has recently worked on a range of ELT programmes across the Latin America region, including in Panama, Brazil, Colombia, and Cuba.

    Institute of the Motor Industry

    The automotive industry faces a number of critical challenges: attracting and retaining talent; skills gaps at senior and entry level; regulatory change; and overall public confidence.
